Lina BowmanLina Bowman is President and founder of Bowman Asset Management, Inc.   With over 16 years of experience in the financial industry, Lina offers a wide array of financial services.  She has obtained several financial licenses, including the FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses. She also holds Life and Health insurance as well as variable licenses in several states. Lina provides access to stocks, options, mutual funds, corporate and municipal bonds, variable and fixed annuities, life insurance, long-term care and health insurance.  She has obtained her MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University.

Lina Bowman - Career Background

In 1992, Lina founded the company Successful Money Management of Michigan, Inc. (SMMM).  This company focused on providing comprehensive financial education on all aspects of investment planning, retirement planning and investments vehicles. In the early 1990’s the “Successful Money Management Seminar” and the “Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement Seminar” were sponsored by the Grosse Pointe War Memorial and offered through their community education program. They were also offered to the public through several community colleges and to private corporations, as an employee benefit to help reduce fiduciary liability as described by ERISA.  SMMM’s courses were also sponsored by the City of Detroit and offered to the city’s employees. 

Lina began her career in business at IBM in the early 1980's.   The IBM basic beliefs of respect for the individual, putting customers first and doing things right the first time continue to be a major influence in Lina`s business practices. 

Lina is a resident of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan.  She is a member of the Grosse Pointe Rotary Club and the Grosse Pointe Village Association.
